Winter In The City

Hey! Today we went into town - Covent Garden! It was beautiful as always, and Covent Garden itself is a nice place to visit any time of the year, but especially near to Christmas. The Christmas tree and lights would give anyone the christmas spirit. We took a few pictures while were there, some of our outfits and some of the things we did.

Hope you enjoy!

Whilst we were walking around Covent Garden, we came across some men covered in paint. We were especially intrigued with the one shown in the picture below because it looked as if he was sitting in mid-air! One of the weirdest things I've ever seen, but I've got to say, one of the coolest too!

We ate at an American Diner in Covent Garden called Five Guys. Jessica, being vegetarian, thought that the vegetarian options they had were going to be none other than the usual. However, she enjoyed it so much and she's already planning to go again soon! I, Farrah, had the cheeseburger, and of course like any other American cheeseburger, it was amazing. Also, their drink machine was out of the ordinary. They had every flavour of every drink you could ever want. I had a strawberry fanta and it was delicious. Jessica had a grape sprite and according to her it was delicious too! The diner was great and we definitely plan on eating there again!

Later on in the day, we went looking for some dessert shops as we were craving something sweet, but we couldn't find anything! If you guys know of any nice dessert shops in Covent Garden, let us know! Anyhow, we settled for Starbucks, the safe option - as we thought! Jessica wanted to try something from the holiday menu, so she tried the Gingerbread Latte - a total fail. She hated it and ended up throwing it away. I tasted some, it was ok but nothing special. I ended up having the Signature Hot Chocolate, always the best. However, I do recommend the Peppermint Hot Chocolate - It's beyond amazing, especially during the winter time!

We're both super excited for Christmas, but sadly we won't be in the same country! Jessica's staying in London, which is always fun! The weather here makes Christmas a bit more Christmassy - if you know what I mean! I'm going to LA! So excited, America's amazing and I love it there, especially the shopping! I'll be sure to take some pictures there and post them up on this, so Jessica and you guys can enjoy my excitement in the States with me!
